Stinger Upgrades

New Release Version 3.0.0 - 10/16/2009

  • Added Recording capability
  • Added ability to open recorded file in the audio editor of choice by right-clicking on a button
  • Added AutoTrim feature to recording to automatically remove silence under a user defined threshold
  • Added option to have Stinger automatically name newly recorded audio files, or prompt for a user selected name
  • Added option to have Stinger automatically overwrite audio files that are recorded over, or prompt for a new name
  • Added option to have Stinger warn when an audio file will be overwritten when recording over an existing file name
  • Added secondary playback window option to allow displaying two sets simultaneously when dual monitors are detected
  • Added ability to use keyboard shortcuts to play button on secondary window (press ~ and the button keycode)
  • Added keyboard playback shortcuts for buttons 37-72 (0-9 and a-z are still used for buttons 1-36 as in previous versions of Stinger, buttons 37-72 use SHIFT + 0-9 or a-z)
  • Added keyboard shortcuts SHIFT + F1 through F6 to access tabs/sets F10 through F16 for keyboards that do not have F10-F16
  • Added selectable maximum record length (AutoStop) so recordings are automatically stopped after 15 seconds to 60 minutes if the user doesn't stop the recording themselves
  • Added Event Logging capability to record all audio files played (same formats as Simian and WaveCart)
